Entitled:
Crimes - Human Trafficking of Minor - Defenses


Synopsis:

Providing that a person charged with a specified human trafficking offense involving a minor may not assert as a defense that the person did not know the age of the victim or that the minor consented; and providing that it is a defense that, at the time of the offense, the defendant made a specified attempt to ascertain the true age of the minor in a specified manner and did not rely solely on the verbal allegations or apparent age of the minor.
