Public Service Commission - New Electric Generation Facilities - Rate Regulation and Contracts

Synopsis:

Requiring an electric company to develop and submit to the Public Service Commission a specified long-range plan regarding the electric company's electricity needs and the means to meet those needs; requiring the Commission to evaluate plans regarding generating needs; requiring the Commission to issue specified orders upon completion of evaluations; authorizing the Commission to direct an investor-owned electric company to acquire a specified site by condemnation under a specified provision of law; etc.
