Labor and Employment - Employment Contracts - Implied Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing

Synopsis:

Creating an implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing in employment contracts; establishing that the Act does not apply to local, State, or federal government employees; prohibiting an employer from discharging an employee in bad faith or without good cause; authorizing an employee to waive the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing under specified circumstances; etc.
