Medevac Helicopter Improvement Act of 2009

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Emergency Services, or the Department of General Services if legislation creating the Department of Emergency Services fails, to issue a request for proposals under State procurement law to select an entity to operate the State's helicopter fleet for emergency medical services; requiring two fleets of helicopters to operate in the State, one for emergency medical services and one for law enforcement, homeland security, and search and rescue; etc.
