Maryland Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act

Synopsis:

Repealing provisions of law relating to the management of institutional funds; establishing the Maryland Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act; establishing a standard of conduct in managing and investing a specified institutional fund; authorizing a specified institution, subject to an expressed intent of a donor, to appropriate for expenditure or accumulate so much of an endowment fund as the institution determines is prudent for specified purposes; etc.
