Synopsis:

Authorizing $83,275,000 of the balance remaining in the Rate Stabilization Account of the Maryland Health Care Provider Rate Stabilization Fund at the end of fiscal year 2008 to be transferred to specified accounts to be used for specified purposes; limiting a requirement that the Legislative Auditor conduct audits of the Medical Mutual Liability Insurance Society of Maryland to years in which the Society received disbursements from the Rate Stabilization Account of the Fund; requiring a specified report; etc.
