Payment Information Security Act


Prohibiting a person that accepts a credit, debit, or stored value card or other access device for a transaction from retaining specified data, specified code numbers, or the full contents of specified magnetic stripe or microprocessor chip data after authorization of the transaction; providing that a person is in violation of specified provisions of the Act if the person's service provider retains specified data; etc.
