Solar Energy Tax Credit

Synopsis:

Establishing a period of eligibility for a credit against the State income tax for specified costs of equipment that uses solar energy to generate electricity, to heat or cool a structure or provide hot water for use in a structure, or to provide solar process heat; providing for the amount of the credit; prohibiting the use of the credit if an individual or corporation receives a grant under the Solar Energy Grant Program; applying the Act to tax years beginning after December 31, 2007; etc.
