Education - Laptop Computer Distribution Program

Synopsis:

Establishing the Laptop Computer Distribution Program in the Department of Education; requiring the Department to work with each county to provide laptop computers to every seventh grader enrolled in a public school in the jurisdiction of participating county boards of education; authorizing a county board to opt out of the Program if the county board determines the requirements of the Program would be a financial hardship; etc.
