Creation of a State Debt - Montgomery County - Uncle Tom's Cabin

Synopsis:

Authorizing the creation of a State Debt not to exceed $100,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission for the planning and design of the historic preservation of and public access to Uncle Tom's Cabin, located in Rockville; providing for disbursement of the loan proceeds, subject to a requirement that the grantee provide and expend a matching fund; requiring the grantee to grant and convey a preservation easement to the Maryland Historical Trust; etc.
