Property Tax - Homeowners' Property Tax Credit and Renters' Property Tax Relief

Synopsis:

Increasing from $150,000 to $250,000 the maximum assessed value of a dwelling on which the homeowners' property tax credit is calculated; altering the computation of the credit; excluding specified items from the definition of "assets" for the purpose of the credit; providing that the credit may not be granted to a homeowner whose combined income exceeds a specified amount; etc.
