Alcoholic Beverage Tax - Maryland Emergency Medical System Operations Fund

Synopsis:

Increasing the State tax rates for alcoholic beverages in Maryland from $1.50 to $3 per gallon for distilled spirits, from 40 cents to 80 cents per gallon for wine, and from 9 cents to 18 cents per gallon for beer; providing for the distribution of the additional revenue resulting from the increased tax rates to the Maryland Emergency Medical System Operations Fund; etc.
