Synopsis:

Clarifying a provision of current law relating to underwriting standards for private passenger motor vehicle insurance by providing that specified underwriting standards include a conviction of the named insured or a covered driver of a violation of specified prohibitions against driving while under the influence of alcohol or alcohol per se or while impaired by drugs, drugs and alcohol, or specified controlled dangerous substances; etc.
